Podcast Episode #44: Trying Times in the National Parks, ft. Black Canyon of the Gunnison & Mammoth Cave
Our year in the national parks, overall, was pretty cushy. We didn’t experience anything too far out of our comfort zone, and we never felt truly unsafe.
But there were a couple experiences in the parks that stand out as tough. Moments when we had to take deep breaths, try not to panic, and power through it.
We’re recounting two of those moments on today’s episode of Switchbacks.
Listen also as we answer a listener question about our favorite areas in the U.S. that aren’t tied to the National Park Service.
