OUR SCRABBLE OMEN and NATIONAL PARK GAME GIVEAWAY!!!
Both Elizabeth and I come from families of enthusiastic board gamers. At holidays, for a weekend in, in the car or on vacation, our favorite family times always seem to center around games. The first time I visited Elizabeth’s hometown when we were dating we went to a coffee shop (I might not have told her yet that I actually hated coffee). We played their in-house Scrabble game. We tied 271-271. That was my first sign that she was the one. 😉

When Elizabeth and I were at Mizzou and then Kansas City our favorite hang out activity was playing games with friends – classic games, card games, party games and mostly strategy games. So of course we couldn’t go this year without games! Enter our friends at USAopoly.
We found out about the board game makers at USAopoly because they are sponsors of the National Park Foundation. When they told us they would be happy to provide us with a bunch of games to take along on our #all59 National Parks trip, we were really stoked. They sent us a few of their amazing collection…
- great original games (Nefarious, Tapple, Reverse Charades, Wonky)
- fun theme games (Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit, BANG! The Dice Game: Walking Dead, Munchkin: Adventure Time)
- and our favorite… their line of National Park themed games (National Parks Yahtzee, Memory and Monopoly)!
We have broken out many of these games as we meet up with friends and family along our trip. And now the really exciting part is that we now get to give one away!
USAopoly has generously offered to send one of our readers a National Parks Edition Monopoly game, just for supporting our blog and appreciating the beautiful U.S. National Parks.
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post, telling us either your favorite National Park or one you’d like to visit someday. Feel free to get your family, friends, neighbors, etc. to comment as well to up your odds! After all, games are meant to be something that brings us together.
We’ll draw a random name from all commenters in 2 weeks on 11/2. Then we’ll notify the winner and mention them in a final comment on the post. Good luck!
