We finally started rehashing our three-week Southeast Asia trip that happened about three months ago. Last week we shared about our three days in Chiang Mai, and today we’re talking about our experience on the Mekong River slow boat. Stay tuned for more from our days in Asia — including our time in Thailand, Laos, […]
Now that we wrapped up our dreamy three-week Southeast Asia about three months ago, I guess we should probably start blogging about it. (Although, to be fair, we did publish a podcast recap and a video right away.) Better late than never, right? This trip was a dream for us. Ever since we started hearing about […]
This is a sponsored post through Indiana Dunes Tourism. We have been compensated by Indiana Dunes Tourism, but all opinions remain our own. We would never steer you in the wrong direction! Whenever we talk about our travels, people inevitably say the same thing: Just wait until you have kids! Travel now while you can! I’m […]
This is a sponsored post through Indiana Dunes Tourism. We have been compensated by Indiana Dunes Tourism, but all opinions remain our own. We would never steer you in the wrong direction! For us, a weekend getaway is about two things: disconnecting from our work lives, and reconnecting with each other. Ever since Cole and I […]
It’s no lie. Cole and I love to go places. I think we’ll look back on our twenties someday and realize that we barely stopped moving. We work nearly around the clock during the week (especially Cole – he doesn’t take breaks, people), and on the weekends, we like to go places. I’ll be the […]
At the last minute, we decided to drive to Colorado to spend our Labor Day in the mountains. We couldn’t be happier about our decision. Despite all of our time spent in mountain national parks like Glacier, Rocky Mountain, and Yosemite, we missed out on most of the high-elevation hiking because of snow-covered trails. That’s […]
It was 2:40 seconds of Earth-dimming, syzygy insanity! … at least it was for some lucky people. Elizabeth and I really had no idea what to expect from the “Great American Eclipse” today. Living just inside the path of totality, the hype was ridiculous. But since the last time a total solar eclipse […]
We definitely never felt we were breaking new ground as travel bloggers in SE Asia. This trip had been on our bucket list for years, just like it is on the bucket list of seemingly every Millennial we talk to. Backpacking around SE Asia for a few months – or even a whole year like […]
The highest compliment we ever get is when people tell us they were inspired by our blog to take their next trip. Well, we (mostly Elizabeth) follows a few other travel bloggers and one of them inspired us to travel to Belize. Elizabeth read all about a famous bloggers adventures in Belize and that […]
Last week we shared about our experiences in Caye Caulker, Belize, which covered the first two days of our week in Belize. Today we’re moving on to the next three days in and around the San Ignacio area. Next week, we’ll wrap up by sharing our thoughts on the final two days of our trip, […]
In August 2015 we left our jobs and our home to go on a tour of all 59 National Parks across the US during the NPS Centennial year. We spent a year immersing ourselves for about 5 days in each park as we tent camped, hiked, biked, backpacked, kayaked, and climbed our way through the challenge and adventure of our lifetime.
We are Cole and Elizabeth, twenty-something Missourians turned National Parks explorers - constantly seeking to find new adventure and ourselves. Follow our journey for pictures, videos, park tips, and stories - because after all, the Parks are for sharing.
